Teams compete to find the piggy bank and earn points.
Students look for a piggy bank by conjugating verbs.
One piggy bank is randomly hidden for each verb.
Points are earned by the team that correctly conjugates the verb form and finds the piggy bank.
The class should be divided into teams.
Teams answer one at a time, choosing a box by conjugating the verb correctly. The teacher might want the students to use the pronouns with the verb conjugation (yo bailo). A wrong response forfeits the turn.
After each guess, the turn goes to the next team.
Either the teacher, or the students, can touch the button, but the teacher should be sure a correct response was given before the students approach the smartboard.
Points are earned as follows... Finding the piggy bank on guess one, awards 100 points. Finding the piggy bank on guess two, awards 50 points. Finding the piggy bank on guess three, awards 40 points. Finding the piggy bank on guess four, awards 30 points. Finding the piggy bank on guess five, awards 20 points. Finding the piggy bank on guess six, awards 10 points.
